Running

I heart running.  When I was little, my dad always ran after work.  He never made excuses, and from a young age, I learned that running is just what you do to stay healthy.  I starting running in high school when I joined the cross country team, which I mainly joined because my older brother was already on the team.  It was love at first mile.  (Cheesy much? ;) )  I took some time away from running in college, but rediscovered my love for the sport in 2007, when I decided to run a half marathon.  I enjoyed making a goal and the challenge of achieving it.  After running a few half marathons, I decided to take the leap and train for a full marathon.  Ten marathons later, I still love running. :)  I’m a big believer in taking needed rest days and listening to your body.  Generally, I run 3-4 days a week.  In 2011, I merged my passions for Atlanta and running and started Atlanta Running Tours as a part-time venture.  Life is good!
