Congrats! You survived Monday! It’s all down hill from here.
Let’s see, where did I leave off yesterday….ah ha!
After rehearsal, I headed home and whipped up a Green Monster before heading to Mecca Whole Foods. It’s never a good idea to go to Whole Foods on a completely empty stomach…unless credit card debt is your thing.
I picked up a few essentials at Whole Foods: frozen berries, almond milk, granola, bananas, and DINNER! I mean, I was there anyways!
Of course I hit up the cold bar. So many goodies to choose from.
What a great cap to the weekend. I tried to make it a fun weekend, even though Mark was out of town on his annual mountain biking excursion to Snow Shoe, West Virginia with his college buddies. But he’ll be home when I’m done with rehearsal tonight! Yea!
Since I have rehearsal everyday after work this week (ughhh…in 30 minutes), I have to do all of my runs in the morning before work.
This morning I woke up at 5:30 and was out the door by 6 for a 6 mile run. I had 1/2 a banana with chocolate almond butter for fuel.
Boy, was I still sore from the nearly 18 miles (running + hiking) from Saturday. Everything from my calves to my hips hurt. And it’s amazing how sweaty I can still get on a run even before the sun comes up!
When I finished my run, I took Jack-dog on a short walk, and then I came home to eat my chocolate-cherry V.O.O.s Sooooooooo good.
For lunch today, I tried a new microwave meal from Amy’s. I had the veggie loaf with mashed potatoes and peas.
Now I’m home from work and about to head to rehearsal, which lasts ’til 10 P.M. To prevent a growling stomach from hitting in a few hours, I just consumed a green monster and a SIAB. I should be set ’til 10.
